Sefer Yirmiyahu with Rabbi Naftali Wolfe - 8:00 am on Shabbat morning

"Jewish Belief" with Rabbi Elly Krimsky- 45 minutes before mincha on Shabbat - A look into the underpinnings of Jewish Theology with its implicit look at the afterlife. We will analyze Maimonides' 13 Principles' and other seminal treatises on Jewish belief.

 

"King David's Heart and Harp": a historical and literal analysis of the Book of Tehillim (Psalms) with Rabbi Elly Krimsky - 9:15 am on Sunday mornings.  We will study the beautiful poems that King David and others penned while gaining perspective by reading the relevant chapters in Samuel and Kings that forge the background for the memoirs.


"Laws of Shabbat" with Rabbi Elly Krimsky - 8:30 pm on Tuesday evenings


"Sefer HaChinuch" with Rabbi Naftali Wolfe - 8:30 pm on Wednesday evenings 
 

"Family Beit Midrash"

Sunday evening weekly program that offers shiurim for adults and the opportunity to learn the Jewish topic or text of your choice one on one with a chavruta while running a concurrent children's program. 

A light dinner is served every week. 

All are welcome to join this free program of the Young Israel, for an hour long of learning for the whole family.

"Contemporary Women's Issues" -

Topics will include: the similarities and differences between men and women; hakafot on Simchat Torah; Megillat Esther, Kabbalat Shabbat and Kri'at HaTorah; positions of communal leadership;mechitzah, tzniyut, kol ishah and hair-covering; bat mitzvah, birkat hagomel, yo'atzot and to'anot.
